The over-all experience as well as the courteousness and accommodating attitude of the owner and his wife.

I would describe this hotel as moderate up-scale. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished. The owner and his wife went out of their way to provide a comfortable experience for us. Even though this motel doesn't provide shuttle service from the airport, it was offered to us when we asked about it. Absolutely nothing.

They scred the reservations up.

The reservation was for two beds, two adults. They had another party and changed my reservation to one king bed. They would not offer anything to make this right. We were finally able to get them to say they would put a roll a way bed in the room but they would not offer any price concession. When we came back from our business and went to the room, there was no roll a way. We complained and they wanted to charge us extra for the roll a way. We said we would not pay and they shut up. Tasty waffles for breakfast.

The bathroom shower curtain was hung incorrectly and was hard to keep closed all the way while showering.

Overall, this hotel was good for the money spent. It wasn't as nice as, say, a Hampton Inn, but it was much cheaper! Breakfast was fine, but not great.

Very unfriendly check in staff.

Desk personnel was rude and did not offer any help when we requested rooms side by side. And there were plenty of empty rooms. Our room keys were locked out on our last day of our stay, but we were told it was our fault. Two different rooms and neither of the pass keys worked.
